After having employed Ala construction to build a set of steps and small deck in front of the house I immediately turned to him later to install hardwood flooring inside the house on the stairs and second floor. My confidence was rewarded, as the work was done just as carefully and excellently as my first experience, and within the agreed time frame. In addition, at one point early in the discussions, when he had submitted his written estimate, I misunderstood it, thought that the hardwood was not included, emailed him saying that I accepted his figure and, yes, I would pay the cost of the wood. He immediately called to correct my misunderstanding, emphasizing that the hardwood was included in the quoted price. This is exactly the sort of response which builds trust in a business. I will definitely go back to Ala construction a third time.
